Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.
1 Corinthians 12:27 (NIV)
Welcome

God loves you and desires to have an intimate relationship with you.  We were all once slaves to sin but Christ paid for us and He made the way so we can be apart of His Kingdom.  All we need to do is accept what Christ has done and repent of going our own way and put our trust in Him.  At that time you become a disciple of Christ and He promised to give us the Holy Spirit to live in us and help guide us and we become part of His Body, His Church.

In this site you will see that so much of what we call the church is nothing but religion and has very little to do with a relationship with God and His Church.

Please take the time to look through the articles and resources on this site. I'm  sure you will find them encouraging and enlightening.

Who is the Church?

Very simply the Church is made up of those that TRUST Jesus Christ to be their Lord and Savior, once they have done that they become part of His body (the Church), which Jesus is the head.  And wherever His body goes "Church Happens".

God speaks to us in different ways and one of those ways is in reading the Bible.  In reading the Bible many people skip around and find that they never read some books or chapters.  This chart will help you keep track of what you have read and haven't read.

Click Here and print your own Bible Reading Chart.

Once it is viewed in the pdf viewer click File /  Print and print page 1 then turn over your paper and then click on File / Print again and print page 2.

Relational Christianity

Christianity is not a code of ethics.  It is not another religion. It is not participation in ceremonies or signing some creed. Christianity is a relationship with Jesus Christ, His Father and the Holy Spirit. It is intended to be a relationship more loving, more real, more transforming than any other we have ever known.

Treasure Hunt

I'm finding that this journey is more like a Treasure Hunt instead of a Path.  When I think of a path I see others ahead and behind me.  That type of thinking leads to feeling inadequate and prideful at times.  But in a Treasure Hunt the Lord helps to find treasure to learn and discover new things about Him and His Kingdom.  Then when one shares new things with others it is like "Hey look at what I discovered!" without the thinking that "Well I guess you just haven't arrived yet, but maybe someday you'll get there".  To read about some of the treasures I've found click here.

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.
Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
Galatians 5:1 (NIV)
